The Loop by Nicholas Evans
RC 46713
A pack of wolves makes a sudden savage return to the Rocky Mountain ranching
town of Hope, Montana, where a century earlier they were slaughtered by the
thousands. Biologist Helen Ross has come to Hope from the East, fleeing a
life in shambles, determined to save the wolves from those who seek to
destroy
them. But an ancient hatred awaits her in Hope, a hatred that will tear a
family and ultimately the community apart. And soon Helen is at the center
of
the storm, by loving the wrong man, by defying the wrong man ... by daring
to lead a town out of the violent darkness of its past..
I received this book from a friend not from N L S, it was on regular tape
which was a big change for me. As I started this book, the author's name
sounded familiar, so I went and researched it. Nicholas Evans wrote "The
Horse Whisperer and " The Smoke Jumper". I've read "The smoke Jumper",
which I loved. This book is no acceptation. The narrotator was great and
the story kept me hanging until the very last. I really enjoyed this one.
I am very particular about reading unabridged books, I guess I'm spoiled. I
want it all not just bits and pieces that someone else has chosen, so a book
done on another format is a big change for me. I was please to find an
unabridged book that pleased me. I give this one a 5 out of 5.
